Copacabana Cabaret: A Tribute to LolaÂ
Step into the glamour, confidence, and playful sophistication of the golden age of cabaret. Inspired by the legendary spirit of Lola and the iconic Copacabana showgirls, this latin-inspired course blends classic showgirl styling, elegant movement, & feathered flair through a sexy choreographed routine.  Perfect for anyone looking to channel their inner showgirl with hilarious guidance from  Ballroom 2 Broadway creator Diana Lefebvre!Â
Classes are weekly on Zoom with other female Divas who are wanting to strut their stuff, have a good laugh and build their confidence. This course is not suitable for absolute beginners.Â

Who was  Bob Fosse?
Bob Fosse was the master of sexy, stylized jazz. His signature choreography blended precision, attitude, sensuality, and a deliciously naughty edge—forever changing the way dancers move on stage and screen. His choreography was quirky and known for turned-in knees, sharp isolations, jazz hands, tilted poses, slouched walks, and provocative hip movements. His iconic works include Chicago, Cabaret, and Sweet Charity.
Who is Di Lefebvre?
Diana Lefebvre is a Calgary-based performance coach, confidence mentor, and retired professional Ballroom dancer—affectionately known as one of Canada’s dancing sweethearts.
With over 30 years in the dance world, she’s worn every hat: pro competitor, choreographer, coach, studio owner, competition organizer, National Dancesport Judge and the visionary behind award winning Burlesquercise Canada. In 2024 she was awarded Calgary's # 1 Wedding Service and in 2025 she was "white hatted" by the City of Calgary for her contribution and development to the Alberta Dance industry. Diana teaches seminars across Canada in various genres and has worked as consultant for Skate Canada for over 20 years.

Please wear your best jazz class fashion... cut shirts, leg warmers are of course encouraged! Bare feet, socks, toe socks are acceptable- no shoes needed!
This workshop is open to ladies of all shapes, sizes & ages. It it NOT recommended for absolute beginners.
